Adobe Digital Editions (Windows)

Recently, Adobe Digital Editions has upgraded to v2.0. If you already have Adobe Digital Editions, follow the Required Software link below to update. Use the same Adobe ID that you created to register Digital Editions previously.

If you're experiencing any problems with Adobe Digital Editions, you may need to update both Flash and Java on your computer. Please go to Ninite.com , and select Flash, Flash (IE), and Java to easily update these.

Basics:
For eBooks (not Kindle titles!), you’ll need Adobe Digital Editions installed on your Windows computer before checking out and downloading titles.  Adobe Digital Editions can be found here and supports both EPUB and PDF titles.

After installing the program, you'll need to input an Adobe ID. This is something you create for free and is not tied to any financial information. After you create the Adobe ID, input it into your Digital Editions software.

If you have an eReader you'd like to transfer ebooks to, plug your eReader into your computer. Digital Editions will then associate the ID with your device, and it will appear on the left hand side (notice the picture below, with the red circle). After you've checked out and downloaded an ebook from our Emedia Library to your program, you can click and drag the ebook from the right hand side to your device on the left hand side.
